Everyone is a friend at Pole Creek. We try our best to let everyone know they are loved and always welcome here. We hope you'll visit us on a Sunday or Wednesday evening for worship, learning about God's Word, and of course, fellowship with others.
DEDICATION OF NEWLY RENOVATED POWERHOUSE

MINISTRY FAIR 2018
Have you ever wondered how church events, activities, and missions projects are planned, organized and carried out? Make plans to attend the Ministry Fair 2018, Sunday, July 15, following the Worship Service and the Dedication of the PowerHouse. We will have people from many of our ministry teams that will be happy to share with you what the team does and how you can get involved.
INSTALLATION OF OUR NEW CHILDREN'S MINISTER
Join us on Sunday, July 22, during the Worship Celebration as we officially welcome Terra Thompson as our new Children's Minister. There will be a charge to Terra, as she assumes the position, and to the church, that we will be supportive of her and the children's ministry. We will have the congregation join in prayer for Terra as she assumes these new responsibilities.
SONSHINE CLUB JULY OUTING - RESCHEDULED TO JULY 24
The date for our July outing has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 24. We will be going to Ashe County Cheese Factory. We will meet and leave from the church at 10 am. We should get to observe them making the cheese and visit the retail store at the factory where we can shop for cheeses, jelly, and candies. They welcome bus tours, are handicap accessible and have clean restrooms! The trip is about 2 hours 35 minutes up there so this trip will return later than most; probably returning around 5 pm or a little later. Lunch location will be Smoky Mountain BBQ just 4 minutes from the cheese factory. They serve BBQ, fried chicken, country ham, baby back ribs, vegetable plates, sandwiches, and a varied menu. Prices are reasonable and the staff is said to be friendly. The restaurant has a screened front porch. Sounds like a wonderful place to visit.
