Sunday School is the heartbeat of what we are as a church here at Pole Creek. Sunday School is a place for us to connect with others in the body of Christ and offers a close-knit, family-type atmosphere where life's experiences can be shared and people can feel at home. All of this is centered around the Bible.

At Pole Creek we believe the Bible to be the Word of God. It is sufficient for all life's questions and demands; and reveals God's plan for mankind's relationship with Him. Because the Word of God is so vital to every aspect of life, we take a very comprehensive approach to our study of it. The Sunday School curriculum at Pole Creek covers major teachings in the Bible as well as journeys through particular books. These studies follow the sermon track of our pastor and are reinforced through the music ministry of our choir, praise team, and orchestra. So the passage of Scripture from which the sermon is taken is the same passage that will be illustrated musically and studied in the Sunday School. Finally, each Sunday School member has access (through email or paper handout) to daily devotionals that allow further study into, and inspiration from, God's Word to us for every day of the week. Through this process, we hope to give our members a good grasp of the message and solid truth on which to center their lives. |
Many people seeking to know more about God or our church come to Sunday School before becoming a Christian or even coming to a worship service. Whether you are exploring faith in Christ for the first time, or are a long-time Christian who seeks to connect with other people who love our Lord, Sunday School at Pole Creek is for you. Sunday School times are 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. each Sunday morning and there is a group for everyone. We would love to see you this Sunday!
