One of my all time favorite television shows is Star Trek. You may not be a Trekkie, but there is one saying from the show that I think should be applied in our service to our Lord. The saying is, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one". That's pretty deep if you think about it. As Deacons, we want to make sure that the "needs of the many" which is you, the congregation, always comes first. Jesus modeled this when He said, "..the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.." (Matthew 20:28a). Our sincere desire is to faithfully minister and serve the wonderful folks at Pole Creek.

Always remember that your Deacons are ready and willing to listen to your needs or concerns, to offer comfort and counsel when you need it, to help you carry your burdens and most importantly, to pray for you and with you! Never hesitate to call on us, because our duty, our calling and our commitment is to serve you!!!
